Helen Skelton breaks down in tears on Strictly after Gorka 'put his faith in her'

Strictly's Helen Skelton was overcome with emotion as she reflected on her journey on Strictly alongside dance partner Gorka Marquez.

The 39-year-old appeared to allude to her rocky persona life which saw the TV presenter struggle with confidence and performance on some weeks as she competed on the BBC show.

In the finale as she hoped to be able to lift the Glitterball trophy, Helen thanked Gorka for restoring her self confidence and putting faith in her that she didn't know she had.
