Helen Flanagan has always said that Glasgow holds a special place in her heart after she lived there for a few years back in 2016, when her then partner Scott Sinclair moved to the city as a signing for Celtic FC.
Helen, Scott and their daughter Matilda upped sticks to Glasgow for a few years and the pair even welcomed their second child Delilah after Helen gave birth at the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
And yesterday (Wednesday) Helen returned for a flying visit and reminisced about her time there as she and four-year-old Delilah enjoyed some quality time together.
Posting on her Instagram, she wrote: "Was up at 5am today to drive to Glasgow and back for a few hours to pick up Delilah a passport (with all the passport strikes) so I can take my kids on a nice holiday at half term. love being back here such good memories.
"Delilah was my wee Scottish baby wish I could have stayed longer but had to get back for Charlie and Matilda x Delilah was such a good girl she’s really come out of her tantrum toddler stage and so well behaved and now Charlie’s started proud mama x."
In another story, Helen showed Delilah enjoying a bite to eat in Pret in the West End of Glasgow, where she revealed that it was in there that her waters broke when she was pregnant.
She said: "I love the pret in the west end. I actually went into labour here with Delilah."
And many commented on Helen's post.
Scots celebrity hair stylist Pam Doc wrote: "Our wee Scottish doll."
Another pal added: "So nice to have you back in Glasgow."
While another wrote: "We all love you in Scotland. hope you and family well."
Scott left the club in January 2020, and the pair moved to Cheshire. They welcomed their third child, Charlie, in 2021 before the couple called time on their 13-year relationship last year.
But it seems they are co-parenting very well, as Helen still talks about the dad her three children with affection on her stories, as well as her time up here in Scotland.
Earlier this year, the former Celtic WAG took part in an Instagram Q&A, where she was asked 'what football club has left a sentimental feeling to you?'.
Helen replied by sharing a snap of her eldest child Matilda wearing a Celtic strip and said that the Glasgow side always has a special place in her heart.
She wrote: "I'm proud of everything Scott has achieved. I did really love Celtic, I did a lot with the other girls there. The girls absolutely love watching their daddy play for @official_brfc It's hard to move children around when they start school."
When Helen left Glasgow she shared a special Instagram post in which she spoke about how much the city means to her.
At the time she wrote: "Glasgow will always have such a special place in my heart. I have the happiest memories of my life so far in Glasgow.
"Matilda was only one when we moved here and has a Scottish accent. Delilah was born in Glasgow.
"My wee baby is Scottish and will always be a Glasgow girl. I have made life long friends who I care and love [them] so much."
