Helen Flanagan hit back at negative comments about her appearance.
The former Coronation Street actress took to Instagram to condemn messages left on her profile following a recent post. After sharing a shot of herself in a beautiful crimson red dress, she was inundated with nasty replies begging her to stop, labelling her "thick as f***", and suggesting she was a bad role model for her children and others.
In a new post, she shared a large text-based image that said: "Empowered women empower women." The next image showed the original post with the negative comments pasted on top, followed by a similar photo but with the compliments she received.
