Helen Flanagan 'ready to return to the limelight' in I'm A Celeb All Stars

Helen Flanagan is ready to get back into the limelight after signing up for I'm A Celebrity.... Get Me Out of Here All Stars edition, according to reports.

The former Coronation Street actress is reportedly in talks with bosses as one of the iconic contestants heading back into the jungle next year. It's been 10 years since the 32-year-old's first stint on the show where she was voted by the public to complete Bushtucker trials on seven of the 15 days she was there, writes the Mirror.

A source told Closer that despite have a dramatic stay in the jungle first time round, Helen could be ready to go back. The insider said: " Helen has been offered pretty much every reality TV show going in recent years, including Strictly, but nothing has felt quite right - until now.

"She absolutely adored her time there and she is fully aware that it transformed her into an even bigger star. I'm A Celeb! was her happy place, which is why she decided to say yes. She thinks it's finally time to start putting herself out there a bit more."

When on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! for the first time, Helen was surrounded by other famous faces such as Ashley Roberts, David Haye and the winner Charlie Brooks. Helen managed to finish in seventh place and is thought to want to do even better this time around.

The source explained that Helen understands she will have to face difficult challenges again but she is convinced she can get through it. It's thought if Helen appears on our screens again this might lead to other work opportunities for her.

The mum-of-three currently lives with her footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair. The all-stars series is set to be filmed in South Africa's Kruger National Park, where famous faces from previous series will reunite.

The show could be pre-recorded in South Africa, which will see stars return to face the bushtucker trials, dingo dollar challenges and living off rations for up to three weeks. Other celebrities rumoured to be joining the cast include Georgia Toffolo, Carol Vorderman, Dean Gaffney, Jordan Banjo and Gillian McKeith.

It's not known how the all-star format will go due to celebrities already knowing what they're getting themselves into. A date hasn't yet been set, but the usual I'm A Celeb is due to return to Australia this year after two years in Wales due to Covid restrictions.

When Helen signed up for the show a TV source told The Sun : "Helen is an absolute catch for ITV and they are thrilled she is finally on board. It has taken months of negotiations because it is a big decision to spend so long away from her young children but she has finally come around to the idea.

"She was brilliant telly back in 2012 and is bound to be just as entertaining this time around — especially if she gets voted into doing the trials again."
