I'm A Celebrity... South Africa fans have been left devastated as two more stars were axed following a brutal trial.
Helen Flanagan and EastEnders star Dean Gaffney were the latest two celebrities booted from the jungle after coming last in a Survival Trial. Wednesday night's instalment of the ITV show saw the remaining contestants locked in crates filled with creepy crawlies.
The celebrities were tasked with releasing themselves from the locks within the crate and escaping to secure their place in the jungle, but unfortunately, Helen, 32, and Dean, 45, came last.
Helen said as she left: "I've had the time of my life. I have just had the best time I am so grateful. I knew I would be bad at the challenge."
Dean added: "Hopefully I did better than last time. I am definitely going home heavier than I arrived with all the picnics that's for sure! You know what, I'm done, I haven't laughed that much in years."
Mother of three Helen was determined to do better than her original stint in the jungle and she certainly managed that. The former soap star said prior to the show she wanted to make her kids proud as she gave every challenge her all.
Fans were left gutted after Helen and Dean became the latest stars evicted from the jungle and took to Twitter to rant. One wrote: "helen was supposed to win. our robbed goddess, winner of all stars two #ImACeleb."
Another penned: "For me, Helen Flanagan deserved to be the overall Jungle Legend. I have been so impressed with her. She seems genuinely very caring and has been outstanding in all her trials. I have nothing but admiration for her #ImACeleb," while a third said: "Gutted Helen has gone. She completely redeemed herself and would have been a very worthy winner #ImACeleb".
"THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST FINAL 6 EVER. AMIR GONE, TOFF GONE, JOE GONE AND NOW HELEN I AM NOT OKAY #imaceleb," a fourth tweeted. Another added: "Gutted that Joe, Toff, Andy, Helen and Dean have all gone home and we are stuck with Carol, Fatima and Paul f****** Burrell #ImACeleb".
Someone else penned: "Gutted to see Helen go. The growth we’ve seen from her since she was first on the show to now is immense. Was rooting for her after Joe went yesterday. Sad to see Dean go too, like Joe he wasn’t given the chance to do much in his short time there! #ImACeleb."
I'm A Celebrity... South Africa continues 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
