NEW DELHI: Heinrich Klaasen delivered a stellar performance, notching a century in just 61 balls as South Africa concluded their innings at 399 for seven after 50 overs in the ICC World Cup 2023 pool stage match against England at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.
Klaasen's remarkable innings in challenging hot and humid conditions saw him accumulate 109 runs from 67 balls, marking his fourth century in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). He formed a crucial partnership of 151 runs from 76 balls for the sixth wicket with the versatile all-rounder Marco Jansen.
