Alateng on the fight's key moment
“Rodrigues is an excellent striker. That was our game plan going into the fight: To exhaust his energy – take him down and just take control for most of the fight. That was just exactly how I predicted. Like my coaches told me, once I got a good, solid takedown, he would not be able to get up.”
Alateng on getting right back to camp
“There’s no stopping in my game plan. I’m ready anytime.”
Alateng on what he wants next
“I’ve been preparing for this match for a long time, and it was very easy to win the match. I want to continue in July at International Fight Week. I want to fight anybody. I don’t care. Give me a fight. I haven’t really thought about a particular name, but honestly at this point, anyone you guys see thrown my way, hopefully is a ranked fighter. I’m willing to go to battle with anyone.”
