Heidi Klum wished her mum a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday by sharing a clip of the pair sharing a ride together.
However, while the model, 49, appeared in good spirits, her mum Erna seemed less than impressed at being filmed.
Heidi looked stunning as she rocked a maroon puffer jacket over the top of a black jumper with a colourful print.
She opted for large black sunglasses and wore her blonde tresses straight. Her mum, who is a cosmetics company executive, stared stoney faced at her daughter who was bopping away in the back seat while chewing gum.
Erna wore for a bright green jumper and orange scarf with a black fleecy coat over the top.
The America's Got Talent judge played will.i.am's version of I Got It From My Mama to accompany the upload, which was quickly liked by a number of Heidi's Instagram followers.
The family love-in comes on the back of heated criticism from certain corners for Heidi's latest fashion shoot with her teen daughter, Leni.
The mum-and-daughter posed in their lingerie for Italian underwear brand Intimissimi and not all were appreciative of the images.
Tagging her campaign on Instagram, Heidi wrote earlier in the month: "Yiiiipppppiiiiiiii our new @intimissimiofficial campaign is here. You can discover #theartofitalianlingerie online and in all Intimissimi stores.
"If you see me and @leniklum on billboards all over Germany … tag us and we'll share our favorites on our stories!"
However, some took offence to the image and let their feelings know on Leni's social media post as Heidi continues to keep her comments turned off.
One user ranted: "I would not be proud to show my daughter off in this way. I would feel embarrassed and sad," while another added: "It just looks weird."
Heidi later ignored the comments to post a pouting pic of her and her daughter for Leni's 19th birthday.
The duo enjoyed a drink together out of plastic cups as they stared up at the camera for the snap.
She captioned the sweet shot: "Happy 19th Birthday @leniklum," and followed her comment with a strong of red heart emojis.
