Heidi Klum has promised her Halloween outfit this year is "very, very bloody".
The 53-year-old star has become the spooky season's scream queen with her iconic Halloween party and outrageous costumes every October, and she's got something special planned for next month.
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, she teased: "It goes very well with red wine. It's very, very bloody."
The costume sounds timely, as Heidi is teaming up with Apothic Wine on a limited edition Apothic Type 'A' Blood Bags collection.
She added: "A great glass of wine is always fun… and most of the time you think of something gory when you have a blood transfusion bag.
“That’s what Halloween is all about. We go gory, and we go there.”
Heidi revealed she usually gets into costume "two, three hours before" her party, and there's a lot of prep needed, including being makeup free.
She explained: “Everything needs to be removed; otherwise, the prosthetics don’t stay. Getting all of the prosthetics off, too.
"It’s basically like nail polish remover on the face… I’ve had chunks ripped off my chest before because they went too fast.”
As for the party itself, the supermodel noted that the important ingredients are "the people", "the music" and "the lighting", while food also has to be carefully considered.
Heidi said: "A charcuterie board with cheese and all different kinds of crackers, vegetables all chopped up, and dips so that everyone can finger pick around.”
In recent years, Heidi has dressed as everything from E.T. to a worm.
For her 2025 bash, she transformed into Medusa, complete with moving snakes for hair, and terrifying teeth.
She told E! News at the time: "I've been thinking about Medusa for quite some time, because I've seen over the years obviously many, many Medusas, and I thought, You know, one day I'm going to try my own...
"I really wanted to have snakes that were moving, a super-ugly, super-scary face, really ugly teeth, and to be like a really long rattlesnake."
For Heidi's husband Tom Kaulitz, his challenge each year is to find a costume to complement his wife's choice.
He added: "This year wasn't that difficult, but sometimes it is. Last year we did E.T., for example, it was difficult. Like, OK, are we going to be both E.T. or one female version? I always have to come up with something that matches.
"[This year] there's not much I could do other than being the man who got into stone. So that's me and I think they did an amazing job."
