A heavily pregnant woman is having to take on the care of her sister's baby after her shock death weeks after giving birth. Lorena Ferreira, 31, is struggling to make ends meet and is still dealing with the death of Mariana Ferreira, 29.
The new mum is thought to have fallen from a flat on March 25, police say. A probe has been opened but at this stage the death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.
Mariana's shock death means Lorena will now have to care for her young niece. And she is expecting her own child in just a few weeks - while grieving.
