Cabbies and private hire vehicle drivers plaguing local communities near Heathrow have been hit with 6,250 parking fines in less than a year.

Hillingdon Council imposed a Public Spaces Protection Order in February prohibiting taxis, chauffeurs, and private hire vehicles from waiting in residential streets in the wards of Pinkwell, West Drayton, and Heathrow Villages.
