Passengers across Britain faced widespread flight disruption on Tuesday after a NATS technical fault hit the UK air traffic control network. Heathrow briefly halted departures, and delays soon spread to major airports nationwide.
NATS traced the fault to its flight processing system. Engineers later applied a fix, but NATS warned that recovery would take time.
