The Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard and RNLI ILb successfully rescued a young dog who had fallen into the water at the Baths.
The incident happened on Tuesday and the pooch, named Daisy, had gotten herself out of the water onto a ledge but was stuck there. A video posted by the Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard shows the RNLI lifeboat close to Daisy and a team member was able to hop out and grab her.
Daisy's tail immediately started wagging when help arrived and she nestled herself into the arms of the rescuer. The Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard shared the incident on social media and reminded the public to call emergency services if you see anyone in difficulty near water.
