Hearts star Cammy Devlin admits it is 'surreal' to be at the World Cup as he opened up on picking Australia legend Tim Cahill's brains over his experiences.
The Jambos midfielder was rewarded for his fine form domestically and in the Europa Conference League this season for Robbie Neilson with a place in Graham Arnold's 26-man Soccerros squad for Qatar. He is joined by team-mates Kye Rowles and Nathaniel Atkinson along with familiar faces in Celtic's Aaron Mooy, Hibs star Martin Boyle and former Rangers and Easter Road striker Jason Cummings.
A massive test awaits Devlin and Co in their opening game of the tournament as they battle it out against France next week. Denmark and Tunisia make up the remainder of the section as the men from Down Under bid to cause a few upsets and go for glory. The Hearts midfielder has his fingers crossed he can get at least one game at the global tournament and says all three would be 'unreal' as he opened up on being super happy over his selection.
