HEARTS are reportedly pursuing a loan move for Newcastle ace Elliot Anderson.
The rising Scottish talent is currently training with the Magpies' first team during pre-season.
The 19-year-old spent last term on loan with Bristol Rovers, as he got some vital minutes under his belt at competitive first team level.
There are big hopes for Anderson, with Newcastle believed to hold the player in very high regard.
And according to Football Scotland, Hearts are among several clubs monitoring his situation.
The report states that numerous Championship sides down south are also keen to sign Anderson on loan.
He scored seven goals and notched six assists in 21-appearances for Rovers last year.
