Liam Boyce's season could be OVER in a major blow to Hearts, according to a report.
The Jambos hitman was stretchered off during the 3-2 win over St Johnstone at Tynecastle on Sunday and replaced by summer signing Lawrence Shankland. The Northern Ireland international was on the scoresheet before being replaced and now the Scottish Sun report he could face up to nine months out over fears of a cruciate ligament tear.
Hearts team-mate Kye Rowles - who has been a key player since his summer arrival - was also forced off in the five-goal thriller with a damaged ankle and the same report states he faces two months on the sidelines. Robbie Neilson is already without Craig Halkett and Nathaniel Atkinson, who are both crocked, with the injury crisis quickly becoming a nightmare for the capital boss.

The Jambos boss will now likely dive into the transfer market to bolster his ranks ahead of Thursday night's deadline.
Hearts have a Europa Conference League campaign on top of domestic matters with a large number of games to come.
They face Istanbul Basaksehir, Fiorentina and RFS in their section.
