Hearts get triple Celtic clash boost as Robbie Neilson reveals John Souttar among returning trio

Robbie Neilson has revealed a triple injury boost ahead of Hearts' weekend clash with Celtic.

The Jambos boss confirmed John Souttar, Cammy Devlin and Michael Smith all trained on Friday and will be part of his squad for the Premiership trip to Glasgow.

Souttar, set to join Rangers in the summer, has not played since March 5 after undergoing surgery on an ankle problem, while Smith has been out since February.

Devlin's hamstring issue relapse kept him out of last weekend's draw with Ross County but all three are in contention for Saturday's visit to Celtic Park.

Ange Postecoglou's side can all-but clinch the league title with victory but Neilson is focused on Hearts ' own targets.

Neilson told Sky Sports: "It'll be a great game, as it always is going through to Glasgow, a great occasion.

"It's going to be a fantastic day.

"When you go to Parkhead it's always a big game for us, it's always a tough one.

"We haven't won there yet for a number of years and we'd like to go and try and do that.

"Irrespective of what happens with the league title, it's about us. We're in a great position in third but we'd like to get as close as we can to the Old Firm come the end of the season.

"We spoke at the start of the season, as a group, about trying to go through to Glasgow and win. It can be very difficult.

"We've had a draw through there and this is an opportunity to try and win and maybe set a marker down for next season.

"It would bring that confidence that being able to do that brings to the club."
