Hearts will face English Championship outfit Stoke City at Tynecastle next month in Gary Locke's testimonial match, subject to SFA approval.
The second tier side from England will make the trip north to face Robbie Neilson's first-team on Saturday, July 23 at 3pm - just one week before the new Premiership season. After 20 plus years of service in the capital it was announced last year that the club legend would be granted a testimonial year.
Locke is a former player, captain, Scottish Cup winner, coach, manager and is currently the principal ambassador at the club. He has been honoured with a number of different events, the penultimate being the visit of Michael O'Neill's Stoke City side as the Jambos put the final stamp on preparations ahead of the new campaign.
