Hearts manager Robbie Neilson hopes that an extra sum of cash from winning in the Europa Conference League gives him a January transfer boost.
Lawrence Shankland and Andy Halliday goals sealed a 2-1 victory over RFS on Thursday night, their second win over the Latvian outfit in Group A. It was a bittersweet night though for the Tynecastle side as Fiorentina's win over Istanbul Basaksehir means they can't reach the knockout stages ahead of travelling to Turkey for their final group game next week.
There was also the cost of another injury for Hearts as Stephen Kingsley pulled up with a muscle injury amid Kye Rowles, Craig Halkett and Nathaniel Atkinson all missing out against RFS. January isn't too far away when factoring in the World Cup break and Neilson hopes for good news on the fitness front ahead of playing Ross County this Sunday, on top of a budget boost after a win raking in close to £500k.

Asked about the cash windfall, the Hearts boss told BT Sport: "Yeah, we're delighted with it. Delighted coming into this campaign knowing any win is worth a lot of money for the club.
"We hope that then brings more finances for the January window but we've still got a long way to go. We picked up another couple of injuries.
"That is disappointing. We'll be ready for Sunday but it'll be patched up a wee bit."
