Hearts and Hibs have both announced changes to upcoming fixtures post-World Cup shutdown.
The Jambos are set for some Friday night Premiership football under the lights at Tynecastle with their clash against St Mirren rearranged from Wednesday, December 21 to a January 13, 2023. Both clubs have agreed the move for their fixture that was postponed originally due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in September.
A Hearts spokesperson said: “In a congested fixture list, there was a rare opportunity to move the match to what we feel will be a more agreeable date for supporters of both clubs to attend. From a footballing perspective, it makes perfect sense to alleviate a busy festive period by switching to a free weekend.

“Tynecastle under the lights is always a special occasion and we hope fans will welcome the chance to kick off their weekend on a Friday night in Gorgie.”
Tickets that have been purchased for either of the original dates – September 11th and December 21st – will be valid for this new date as Robbie Neilson's men bid to secure another European adventure for next season with a big second half of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Hibs' clash with Livingston on Christmas Eve has been brought forward by one hour.
The original 3pm kick-off will now begin at 2pm after both clubs agreed to the new time.
A Hibees statement read: "The club can confirm the kick-off time for our cinch Premiership fixture with Livingston on Saturday 24 December, 2022.
"After discussions with Livingston FC and the SPFL, the Club can now confirm the match will kick-off at 2pm.
"The match was originally scheduled to take place at 3pm but has now been brought forward."
