Hearts and Hibs could both set to be active in the final hours of the transfer window today.
The Jambos are still looking to add to their squad after manager Robbie Neilson admitted that a 1-0 Premier Sports Cup round of 16 loss to Kilmarnock showed he needs more options ahead of their Europa Conference League group stage campaign. Hibs have been linked with more signings too and have freed up wages after sending Christian Doidge out on loan for the season to Kilmarnock. They are hopeful of completing some business.
Harry McKirdy of Swindon Town has been mentioned as one possible incoming to Leith while another is former Motherwell striker Louis Moult, who has been reported as a target for both Edinburgh clubs. Edinburgh Live Sport has been told explicitly that there is no interest from Easter Road in the Burton Albion forward and if he is to make a move, it won't be back to Scotland as things stand.

Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has received offers for the Fir Park hero but for the moment he is staying put in League One.
Back at Tynecastle, Neilson said of a possibly busy end to the window for Hearts: "I don’t like to put a number on it but you can see that we need a few to give us more.
"When we’re asking these guys to go again and again. You are going to get those performances at times."
