Heartbroken woman slams Aldi for 'cheap dupe' of £100 rugs she's spent years making

Aldi has come under fire from a small business for selling a picnic rug, the owner claims is "inspired" by her boutique collection.

Sharnee Thorpe, who has been running Wandering Folk since it launched in December 2015, has gone viral on social media after sharing an emotional video about her product.

The company makes and sells cotton canvas picnic rugs, featuring beautiful printed designs, which sell in Australia for AUD $190 (around £100 each).
