A son has been left heartbroken after losing a court battle to stay in his childhood council home a week after his mum died.
Grieving Steve White's local authority ordered him to leave his home of almost 50 years following his beloved 81-year-old mother's death.
Steve, 53, moved into the property in 1974, alongside his parents.
