A heartbroken mother has paid tribute to her "beautiful" baby boy following his 'unexpected' death at the mere age of two.
Lucy Shields, 36, said that her son Roman, aged two, was her "everything" and she has been "totally lost" since he tragically passed away after a two-year battle with sepsis.
She said that he showed incredible strength throughout his short life by fighting off infections and responding well to treatment, Chronicle Live reports.
