'Heartbroken' Love Island favourite rushed to hospital after accident with painful injury

Former Love Islander Olivia Bowen has been left "gutted" after being rushed to hospital with a broken wrist, just before she was due to take part in a horse race.

The star, who featured in the 2016 series of the ITV reality dating show and met her now husband Alex through the programme, revealed her injury to fans with an Instagram Story.

The mum-of-one uploaded a snap of her wrist encased in plaster and being supported in a sling as she posted the broken heart emoji and sad face icon alongside it and wrote: "A broken wrist. Gutted doesn't cover it."
