A grief-stricken family will be burying two sisters together after they tragically died just weeks apart.
Mum-of-two Shaunie, 26, died suddenly on February 12 which resulted in her grieving sister, Shavanna, speaking about the loss of her "twin" online a week later. Sadly, the family was hit with a double tragedy after Shavanna died on Friday.
Devastated friends of the Scottish sisters told of how it had been “the worst news any family can receive”. An online fundraiser has been launched to help the family to pay for the siblings’ funeral arrangements, The Mirror reports.

Speaking on Facebook, one family member said Shavanna was “so heartbroken” about her sister before she too died.
She said: “I love you both forever and will miss you both really can’t believe I have lost the best two sisters in the world.”
Another said that life is unfair but that the two have been reunited once again. Another relative wrote: “Can not believe the both of yous are gone in the space of 3 weeks."
A Scotland Police spokesperson confirmed the news.
They said: "A 26-year-old woman was found dead within a flat in Granton Medway, Edinburgh, on February 12, 2023.
