Heartbroken family pay tribute to 'courageous' Irishman, 23, killed in action fighting in Ukraine

An Irishman has been killed in action after travelling to Ukraine in March to fight in the ongoing war.

Rory Mason, 23, from Dunboyne, Co Meath, was killed on Wednesday, September 28, whilst serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv Region, near the Russian border.

The family, who have been left heartbroken, are now prioritising the repatriation of Rory's remains.
