Delta Goodrem has recalled the weirdest storyline she was tasked with during her time on long-loved Aussie soap Neighbours.
The actress-turned-singer is just one in a long-line of celebs to have made their name on the long-running soap Down Under - a list which also includes the likes of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie and Holly Valance.
She starred as bad girl Nina Tucker on the soap between 2002 and 2005 before making a brief return in 2015.
She is set to take part in the last ever edition of the soap, which will air tonight.
Speaking on Fox FM's Fifi, Fev and Nick show, the star described how her character began as "a bit of a gypsy" who lived away from Ramsay Street and said she was a "shy school girl" before "becoming a bit sassier".
Nina went on to date Jay Bunyan's character, Jack Scully.
Delta, 37, carried on to tell which storyline she found the most bizarre: " My [on-screen] mum, Trixie, ended up winning the lotto and marrying Lou Carpenter, which was my way to move into the street, and then she stole all the lotto money and nicked off and I was with Lou."
She explained how she was shocked at the show's demise saying she thought it would never end.
She continued: "I think it really is the end of an era, but you also feel like it was always going to be there.
"You didn't think it was ever leaving because it's been so important to our industry, so important.
"I'm heartbroken to hear the end of it. I would not be here if it was not for Neighbours."
The finale of the show sees some of its biggest names from over the years return to give it a huge send off after nearly four decades on our screens.
Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan returned as Charlene and Scott, while Guy Pearce is also one of the big names to come back for the last episode.
And the episode has a number of sub plots included to keep fans hooked throughout before one final Ramsay Street twist.
