Carl Woods' pals are "worried" for him as he has been left "heartbroken" by his split from Katie Price.
Former Love Island star Carl, 33, announced his split from Katie after two years together in an explosive video shared on his Instagram story last month.
In the clip he claimed 44-year-old Katie had cheated on him as he told his 235,000 followers: "So, there's no easy way for me to say this and to be honest with you, it's quite embarrassing.
"But me and Kate, are not together anymore. I found out yesterday that Katie cheated on me. She's admitted that she cheated on me. She slept with somebody else.
"So yeah, that's the end of that. I guess I'm just gonna focus on rebuilding myself and get my life back on track. And concentrating on me but that's done."
The pair then subsequently unfollowed one another on social media.
Katie's representatives declined to comment at the time the video was released.
Since the bombshell video, Katie has been embracing single life by partying with her pals, but a source close to Carl has claimed to the Mirror that friends have been "worried" about Katie's heartbroken ex.
A source told the Mirror: "Carl is really heartbroken from Katie cheating. Carl put his all into his relationship with Katie and she ruined it."
The insider added how Carl had helped Katie through some difficult times in their two year-long romance.
During their time together Katie was arrested and plead guilty to drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance following a crash near her home in Sussex last year.
Later, Katie bravely shared her struggle with PTSD in her documentary Katie Price : Trauma and Me.
"He really loved her and wanted the best for her," they said. "Carl helped her through some of her biggest struggles and darkest moments. No one saw what Carl had to deal with behind closed doors".
Now friends have been left worried after former Love Islander Carl didn't take their split well.
They claimed: "He was left heartbroken and depressed. We were so worried for him.
"Heartbreak is the worst feeling and Carl didn’t take it well at all. Carl knew that Katie was capable of something like this but he didn’t expect it to actually happen."
"He's lost all his faith in love," the source said.
Shortly after their split there was speculation the pair had rekindled things after they were photographed kissing.
But, those rumours were later denied by Carl in a cryptic social media post.
Later, it was claimed glamour model Katie "begged" Carl to take her back following allegations of cheating.
A source told OK! magazine: "They're definitely not back together. Katie was trying to win him back but pals don't see him ever getting back with her. He is pretty adamant that he is done now."
