Heartbreak as lifeline Leeds sensory garden left barren and lifeless by callous thieves who tore out plants

Elderly people in Leeds have been left devastated after thieves ruined the garden that was their refuge during the pandemic.

Charity Aireborough Voluntary Services to the Elderly (Avsed) have spoken out about how upset their members are after someone ripped out all the plants from their sensory garden in Yeadon.

The garden, which is where many of Avsed's members without gardens go to socialise, has been left barren and empty instead of the safe haven it was intended to be.
