By now, you'll likely have heard that there are microplastics in both the ocean and in humans, with recent studies finding microplastics in women's ovaries for the first time in history. The peer-reviewed paper published in the Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety journal found microplastics in fourteen of the eighteen women's ovaries they tested.
