Chicago Cubs outfielder Mike Tauchman made one of the best walk-off catches you’re likely to see on Friday night in a win against the St. Louis Cardinals.
As Cards pinch hitter Alec Burleson smacked the ball far into centerfield in the bottom of the ninth inning, Tauchman made a leaping catch right at the wall and tumbled to the ground, securing the ball in the process.
The catch won the game for the Cubs, and longtime sports broadcaster Jon Sciambi absolutely nailed the broadcast call for what’s sure to be a pivotal moment this season for Chicago.
If you’re a Cubs fan, you’re going to love reliving this moment with Sciambi’s commentary.

You can also hear the call from Cardinals broadcaster Chip Caray.
"FLY BALL. CENTERFIELD. PRETTY WELL HIT. AT THE TRACK. AT THE WALL. IT IIIIIIIS……CAUGHT"

It’s always fascinating to see both sides of the broadcast coin on sports moments like this, and both broadcasters knew the perfect tenor to take in one of the coolest finishes to a baseball game in recent memory.
