RTE's Late Late Toy Show star Saoirse Ruane has had some good news this week as she received a chemotherapy health update.
Saoirse, 11, from Galway, was back in hospital for a check-up and doctors said she was coping well with her chemotherapy medication, Galway Beo reports.
In an update on social media, Saoirse's mum Roseanna updated followers on their latest trip to the consultant in Dublin.

She wrote: "We took a little trip to Crumlin on Wednesday for a meeting with Saoirse's consultant.
"Nothing new to report only he is very happy she is tolerating her chemo drug well."
The 11-year-old was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called osteosarcoma, which she has been battling for over three years and which resulted in the loss of her leg in 2019.
She has since become a regular star on The Late Late Show after she won the hearts of the nation with her appearance on the Toy Show back in December 2020.
On April 9 this year, Saoirse's mum shared the devastating news on her Instagram page that a tumour had returned, but bravely described it as a "bump in the road."
In her post, she explained that the family were in Crumlin Children's Unit for a routine check-up, when they received the unexpected news.
Before the appointment, Saoirse had been in great health and had even returned to playing camogie.
Roseanna wrote: "Little did we know our world was about to fall apart all over again. The consultant caught my eye through a glass pane and politely asked me into his office on my own.
"He got straight to the point and even though I held a conversation with him and he showed me great empathy, I felt it all wash over me in disbelief. But there on the screen was her X-ray, staring me in the face, there was no denying this recurrent tumour. Her 3rd to date."
Roseanna added that the family were "devastated", saying that Saoírse’s words on hearing the sad news were: "Why me, why is my life so horrible?".
