FREDERICTON — Six more people have died as a result of COVID-19 in New Brunswick, increasing the toll to 269 since the start of the pandemic.
The latest deaths involve two people in their 70s from the Fredericton region, two people in their 70s in the Miramichi and Moncton regions, a person in their 90s in the Saint John area and someone in their 80s in the Edmundston region.
Health officials reported 151 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, unchanged from Monday.
Seventeen patients are in intensive care, up one from Monday, and eight people are on ventilators.
There are currently 325 health-care workers who are isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
