Ian Evatt says Kieran Sadlier understands the squad situation at Bolton Wanderers as the Whites boss will aim to pick the right team for games during a busy October.
Sadlier is the club's joint top scorer so far this campaign with three goals in all competitions. It is the same as Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley, who has been one of the major bright sparks so far this campaign.
Despite the goals, former Rotherham United man Sadlier has struggled to nail down a consistent starting place so far this campaign, though he is far from the only Bolton player in the squad to do so. He is yet to start a game in League One this season.

Wanderers have a busy month on the horizon with eight games across the course of October. It starts tomorrow with hosting Lincoln City at the University of Bolton Stadium.
But Evatt has not had to have any talks with Sadlier or any other members of his squad about game time as he says there is an understanding there. He is pleased with how every player has bought into the squad rotation philosophy and how it can help them achieve something this campaign.
Evatt said: "I haven’t had to have any discussions with him because he understands. They all understand. There’s nothing personal going on here, I’m just trying to pick the right team for the right occasion. Sometimes I’ll get it right, sometimes I’ll get it wrong and that’s down to me and I’ll take it on the chin.
“They all understand that they need to be a good team-mate and I will treat them how they treat the team, it’s as simple as that. They’ve all got a great attitude, there’s no issues at all from any of them, they understand our end goal and end game and what it takes to get there. They’ve all really bought into that and I’m really enjoying working with them everyday.”
