Singer Ava Max has spoken out after someone invaded the stage at a recent gig and slapped her across the face.
The 29-year-old Sweet But A Psycho hit-maker, real name Amanda Ava Koci, was performing in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening when she was approached by an unknown man mid-song.
In a clip filmed by an attendee that has since gone viral on social media, the man appears to hit Max on the cheek with his hand before he is removed from the stage by security.
Max, meanwhile, is seen briefly touching the area she was hit before continuing her dance routine.
Taking to Twitter after, she addressed what had happened and thanked fans for their support.

“He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye,” she penned. “He’s never coming to a show again... thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!”
The incident comes just days after fellow musician Bebe Rexha was left badly bruised and needing stitches after someone threw a phone at her face while she performed in New York.
It follows a worrying trend of people throwing all manner of things during concerts in the hopes of attracting the attention of their idols.
Harry Styles has previously had chicken nuggets thrown at him while on stage and Rihanna has also been the victim of unwanted objects being slung her way.
