Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has been mocked on social media after he claimed that Manchester United's Casemiro should be arrested for his red card against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Casemiro was shown a red card in the Reds' 2-1 victory over Palace at Old Trafford, with the Brazilian midfielder grabbing Will Hughes by the collar during a brawl. It initially appeared that the 30-year-old had grabbed his opponent by the neck, but alternative camera angles suggested that he had hold of his shirt instead.
Regardless, the United ace was sent off following a VAR check. He will now miss the Reds' next three matches as a result, meaning that Erik ten Hag will be without him for the two games against Leeds and the clash with Leicester.

The reaction to the incident was mixed, with some people suggesting that Casemiro was rightly dismissed, while others claimed that he was unlucky to be sent off. Agbonlahor, meanwhile, had a different view entirely - saying that the United player should be 'arrested' for his actions.
"Casemiro thought he was Brock Lesnar back in the UFC," he said on talkSPORT. "The way he was strangling Will Hughes, he should be arrested for that. Kids are watching that later on, on Match of the Day. Seeing Casemiro strangling an opponent."
Unsurprisingly, the former footballer was mocked for his comments, with hundreds of Reds fans quick to poke fun at Agbonlahor on social media.
