Marcus Rashford’s progress at Manchester United was stunted by teammates with “big egos”, according to an ex-Premier League striker.

The attacker has scored in nine consecutive home games and remains United’s top scorer this season. He’s already scored more than triple the amount he netted during last year’s miserable campaign (five).

Rashford also finished up as England’s joint-top scorer at the World Cup, netting three alongside Bukayo Saka. The 25-year-old has flourished under new Reds boss Erik ten Hag this term after an uninterrupted pre-season, with the academy product in the best form of his career.
