Former West Ham United midfielder Martin Allen expects Hammers boss David Moyes to walk away from the club when the season ends.
The Hammers, in their third full season under Moyes since the start of his second spell in charge in December 2019, have had a mixed campaign this term. While a 14th-placed finish in the Premier League is well below the sixth and seventh placed finishes of the previous two campaigns, they are in the final of this season’s Europa Conference League, facing Fiorentina in Prague next Wednesday.
Despite what could still be one of West Ham’s most historic seasons ever, Moyes has spent much of the season under pressure from supporters, with many calling for him to be sacked at various stages of the campaign.
