Princess Diana's brother, Charles Spencer, has sparked another wave of debate over his sister's troubled royal marriage after saying he believes she would have been 'happy' had she never married King Charles.
Spencer made the remark during a conversation with journalist Tina Brown in New York while promoting his new memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister. When Brown asked what Diana might have been like if she had never married the heir to the throne, Spencer answered with a single word: 'Happy.'
