‘He brought me a dead flip phone’: Daughter horrified after her mom claims her dad might be a serial killer, the trouble is it makes sense

A woman is going viral on TikTok as she revealed a terrifying theory about her own father after her mother told her she thinks he might be a serial killer. While it might sound crazy at first some rather concerning details seem to suggest that it might be more than just a theory.

Sometimes people share a little too much of their family drama on TikTok but in all fairness it makes for some compelling content. In this case, a TikToker who goes by the name, “whaleshark.girl” claimed that her mother “thinks my dad is a serial killer,” she even gave “specific reasons why including stuff that could be trophies.”

@whaleshark.girl

Storytime on my page For context he is already serving 4 life sentences for other non related charges and I would tell the police if I had more information. The place he would talk about is almost 4,000 acres of woods and the police cant just go on a wild goose chase with how little info we have plus this is purely a theory we don’t have enough evidence to prove something happened just bits and pieces #wtf #murder #fyp #help

The video has received over 3 million views and half-a-million likes with people desperate to know more about the woman’s father and why she and her mother are so convinced that he could be a serial killer. “GIRL. WHO STARTS A CONVERSATION LIKE THAT, I JUST SAT DOWN.” exclaimed a commenter. Others predicted a Netflix true crime documentary could be brewing, “what do you want your TV special to be called?” quipped one person.

Viewers were all crying out for a storytime where the woman or her mother could spill the tea and it wasn’t long until she provided.

The concerning evidence against the father

In a second video going into more detail the woman explains that her father worked in the psych ward and death row ward in a correctional facility for 10 years. He had quite the temper and could be quite aggressive. On top of that he apparently had a high IQ and “split personality disorder,” although he hasn’t been officially diagnosed.

He was arrested for doing some “very, very bad things to women,” which resulted in him being charged with four life sentences in a maximum security prison. Already he’s sounding like a very dangerous individual, the more I learn about this guy the less I care for him.

But that’s just the start of it. It’s the things that he would bring home that set off red flags for “whaleshark.girl.” She explained that, when she was young, her father would come home with gifts that he had supposedly confiscated off of prisoners. One time he brought home a dead flip phone, another time it was a “crappy necklace,” all things that seemed meaningless to his family but could have been “trophies” from his victims.

He would also frequently talk about how easy it would be to hide a body and apparently had a fascination with true crime documentaries. He also talked about a nearby national forest a lot. All of this was enough to convince the crowd on TikTok who suggested she contact the police and take a closer look at the trinkets her father brought home.

The woman and her mother admit they have no evidence other than a feeling that the father may have acted on his violent impulses but they do believe that there is a very real possibility he did.
