Sixteen equity mutual funds delivered over 20% XIRR on SIP investments in the last seven years, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. There were 191 funds in the said time period, and all gave positive returns.
A further analysis of the data showed that 160 funds gave double-digit gains and 31 funds gave single-digit returns. The list of 16 funds included some prominent names such as HDFC Mid Cap Fund, Quant Small Cap Fund, Invesco India Smallcap Fund, Nippon India Small Cap Fund and others.
