HC asks Delhi Police about steps taken to prohibit Chinese manjha used in kite flying

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday asked Delhi Police about the steps it has taken to stop the storage and selling of Chinese manjha/synthetic manjha used in kite flying, which has been banned by the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

Appearing for Delhi Police, Advocate Sanjay Lao sought time to take fresh status in this regard. The bench of Justice Satish Chander Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad deferred the matter for August 5.
