HBO's highly anticipated series, 'House of the Dragon,' will come to an end after four seasons, as confirmed by showrunner Ryan Condal during a recent press conference. The prequel to the popular 'Game of Thrones' series is based on George R. R. Martin's novel 'Fire & Blood' and is set centuries before the events of the original show.
The current season, which just concluded its second season, will continue for two more seasons, with the third season currently in the writing phase and expected to be filmed in early 2025. The show has garnered attention for its stellar cast, including Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen.
