The death of Hayden Panettiere, actress best known for Heroes, Nashville and the Scream franchise, in South Los Angeles at the age of 36, has brought to light her harrowing struggle with alcohol addiction, which she described in searing detail in her memoir.
As her representative confirmed the demise on Saturday, there has been no cause of death yet made public. 'It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her and to the millions who watched her onscreen,' said the statement from her representative.
