Hayden Panettiere broke down in tears as she said her brother Jansen Panettiere is "right here with me" during her first TV appearance since his untimely death.
The Walking Dead star was found dead at just 28 years old inside his Nyack home in New York three weeks ago.
His sudden passing was due to an enlarged heart, coupled with aortic valve complications.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Hayden broke down in tears as she shared a heartfelt tribute to her brother.
Host Michael Strahan offered his condolences to the 33-year-old actress, saying: "We want to just tell you that we're sorry to hear about the passing of your brother Jansen and we send our love and condolences to your family."
Hayden replied: "He's right here with me," as she put her hand on her chest.
The actress also appeared on the red carpet on Monday night to attend the world premiere of her new film Scream VI.
Hayden wore an all-black ensemble, opting for an off-the-shoulder minidress which she paired with a long silk scarf and matching jacket.
Her brother Jansen was found dead on February 19, with his family recently speaking about the tragedy for the first time.
In a statement to ABC news, they said: "Though it offers little solace, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications."
The family added: "We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support towards our family as we navigate this unthinkable loss, and ask that we be gifted our privacy during this time of mourning.
"We love you so much Jansen and you will be in our hearts forever."
A source had previously claimed that Hayden was "inconsolable" at the news of Janson's tragic passing - referencing her "best friend".
"He had been having a rough time lately with his career and he was dragged in so many directions," they told DailyMail.
They added: "Hayden is just inconsolable. He was her best friend and her only brother. He was such a nice guy but he lived on the edge."
