Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst got to strike back at his former team on Sunday night during the first half of an AFC North battle with the Baltimore Ravens.
With roughly five minutes left in the first half, Joe Burrow found Hurst over the middle, who then extended for the tough score while draped by defenders.
That’s some poetic justice for Hurst with Sunday night being a rare shot at his former team. The former first-round pick had talked this offseason about his experiences with other teams and how much better he likes it with the Bengals.
Hurst’s score moved the Bengals a little closer and was an important turning point for an offense that had struggled prior to the outburst.
