Hawaii Governor Josh Green recently raised concerns about President Joe Biden's debate performance, questioning whether he is up to the task. As a physician, Green emphasized the importance of evaluating the president's cognitive abilities, noting Biden's forgetfulness during the debate.
While acknowledging Biden's shortcomings in the debate, Green also highlighted concerns about former President Donald Trump's temperament. When asked about Biden's ability to defeat Trump in the upcoming election, Green emphasized that one bad night should not be the sole reason to replace a president.
Green shared a personal experience of working with Biden during the 2023 Maui wildfires, where the president and his team provided support and assistance. In contrast, Green noted that he did not receive similar support from President Trump during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Reflecting on the upcoming election, Green urged Americans to evaluate the candidates based on their long-term impact on the country. He emphasized the importance of choosing a leader who would be beneficial for the nation's future.
