Havertz dropped to the bench for Gyökeres as Arsenal host Everton

• Arsenal forward Viktor Gyökeres is set to start ahead of Kai Havertz, who has been previously favoured by Mikel Arteta so far this Premier League campaign.
• Gyökeres, who has struggled to find the field this season, bagged an assist and looked solid in Arsenal’s midweek Champions League 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich.
• The Swedish international will look to build on that performance, and his physicality could prove a problem for Everton central defenders James Tarkowski and Jake O’Brien.
• With no European football, Everton are coming off a 2-0 loss to Chelsea last week, thanks to a Pedro Neto brace.
• If Arsenal come out on top, they will level table-toppers Manchester City on points after their defeat to Aston Villa earlier in the afternoon, while a win for the Toffees could bring them as high as fourth.
