PANAJI: Jesus Navas has a special place in the heart of every Sevilla FC supporter.
Rising through the youth rank, Navas has made over 500 appearances for the senior team since 2003 and won eight major trophies at the Spanish club. No wonder Sevilla’s training ground has been renamed the Estadio Jesus Navas, a rare honour for a player to have a stadium named after him when he has not even retired.
